All Of Me

Barbara Doyle © 2015

In my heart I can hear Him

On the day I’m called

to stand before His feet

Asking me what I’ve given

Will I lift my head and know

My offering is complete

Setting down my offering

Off’ring all I have

Pouring out my everything

I will not hold back

Halfway won’t do when I know who

I’m suppose to be

I’m giving Him all of me

Everyday I’m defining

Who I am and what I want

My offering to be

And as I serve I’m refining

What I have to bring to Him

And lay before His feet

Chorus

And when I stand before Him

With worn and calloused hands

He’ll know my heart

And understand

Chorus

Giving Him all of me

Silent Witness

Barbara Doyle © 2010

Her olive leaves are whispering with the rustling of the wind
And the thickness of her branches boldly testify of Him
Her gnarled trunk is rooted in the ground that graced His feet
And the listening heart can almost hear her speak

Cause she was there when The Master entered in The Garden’s way
And she was there when His heavy heart fell to the earth to pray
She was there when His pleading pierced the stillness of the night
Her olive branches weeping at the sight
Silent Witness

Her weathered trunk is weary with the setting of the sun
But the aging tree remembers what the King of Kings has done
And quietly she’s speaking, though she never says a word
But to those with ears to hear she can be heard

Cause she was there when The Master went to lift the bitter cup
And she was there when His trembling shook the heavens up above
She was there when His scarlet drops fell heavy to the ground
Her olive branches weeping at the sound
Silent witness

And the olive tree is looking to the heavens up above
Her branches ever reaching to the source of light and love
And quietly she beckons us to seek Him in our turn
She’s waiting for her Master to return

Cause she’ll be there when The Master comes to claim his rightful throne
And she’ll be there when He beckons to the ones that are His own
She’ll be there when the faithful come to bow before His feet
Her olive branches weeping joyfully
Silent Witness

Her olive leaves are whispering with the rustling of the wind

One More Mile With You

Barbara Doyle © 2010

My soul is growing weary
This flesh is worn and weak
And I’m pleading for the chance
To lay this burden at your feet
But still you call my name and bid me come
Give me strength enough, until this journey’s done

Lord I need thee now to be the light when I can’t see
And Lord I need thee close to be the breath when I can’t breathe
And when I feel like I don’t have the strength enough to make it through
I’ll pull it one more mile with you

I know that if you ask me
I will come to where you are
Though it’s hard to leave the light behind
And step out in the dark
And these tired eyes are searching for the light
Give me courage now, to press on through the night

Chorus

And I’ll find my strength in thee
For I know thou won’t forsake
I will follow where you lead
And in thee fresh courage take

Cause I know that you’ll be there to be the light when I can’t see
And I know that you’ll be close to be the breath when I can’t breathe
And when I feel like I don’t have the strength enough to make it through
I’ll pull it one more mile with you

Lord, I’ll pull it one more mile for you

Heaven's Warmth

Barbara Doyle © 2011

There are moments in the midst of every storm
When I can feel the light of heaven pouring down
Cradling my soul with heaven's warmth
Filling me and lifting me to higher ground
Heavenly peace
Comforting me

Heaven's warmth shine down
Pour over me with the light of His pow'r
The warmth of His peace
Reminds me that He
Is tenderly reaching out
And there I find a refuge from the storm
In the arms of heaven's warmth

There are moments when the light is hard to see
When I can close my eyes and feel His warm embrace
Like a ray of sunshine washing over me
Assuring me that everything will be okay
Whispering hope
Leading me home

Chorus

And every time I call upon the power of His name
I close my eyes and somehow feel the sunshine through the rain

Chorus

Encircled in the arms of heaven's warmth

I Will Not Be Moved (Stand in Holy Places)

Barbara Doyle © 2013

Making my way through this unsteady world
Reaching for footholds of faith
So many walking both sides of the line
But I know the path I will take
Placing each footstep in the warmth of His light
Steady and true to this burning inside

I will stand in holy places
Worthy in my youth
And I will be prepared to meet His call
And no matter how the world will change
I will stay, I will remain
Anchored in the safety of His truth
And I will not be moved

Facing the voices who would have me believe
That faith and religion are weak
So many chasing the ways of this world
But I know whose face I will seek
Fearless and faithful in declaring His name
Shining His light I will not be ashamed

Chorus

Keeping my heart on the hills of higher ground
Ready there to walk with Him and I will not come down
I will not come down

Chorus

I will not be moved
I will not be moved

Coming Unto Christ

Barbara Doyle © 2014

What would it be like to feel the Saviorʼs light
Every step through this earthly maze
And what would it be like to have him by my side
To feel his love and know his gentle ways
Well I donʼt want to wonder what life would have been
If only I had chosen to be close to him

I want to stand in the armor of his light
And be the kind of person that he can recognize
I want to live every moment by his side
And feel the grace of heaven in this life
Iʼm coming unto Christ

What would it be like to know the Saviorʼs eyes
Cause everyday I found my way to him
And what would it be like to never compromise
His guiding light thatʼs burning bright within
Well I donʼt want to walk the beaten road
When he has carved the way that leads back home

I want to stand in the armor of his light
And be the kind of person that he can recognize
I want to live every moment by his side
And feel the grace of heaven in this life
Iʼm coming unto Christ

And I get closer as I pray and seek for ways to emulate
Who he is, each and every day

I want to stand in the armor of his light
And be the kind of person that he can recognize
I want to live every moment by his side
And feel the grace of heaven in this life
Iʼm coming unto Christ

Holding On

Barbara Doyle © 2014

Father, it's me again
Forgive me as I stop to take another rest
The snow is deep
And it's awful steep
With every step it's harder, Lord, to move my feet

And Joseph's little legs are much too weak
His tired arms are reaching out to me

Lord, bless these weary feet
To reach the fire's light
And Lord, bless these trembling hands
To hold my brother tight
And while my brother's holding on to me
I'll be holding on to Thee

Father, it's hard to speak
I'm pushing on even though the flesh is weak
The way is slow
And it's awful cold
But I can hear Papa's voice saying, "Don't let go."

And Joseph's crying out for mother's side
Father, will you get us there tonight

Lord, bless these weary feet
To reach the fire's light
And Lord, bless these trembling hands
To hold my brother tight
And while my brother's holding on to me
I'll be holding on to Thee

Another step, another breath
I feel Thee close
And I can hold, your helping hand
I won't let go

Lord, bless these weary feet
To reach the fire's light
And Lord, bless these trembling hands
To hold my brother tight
And while my brother's holding on to me
I'll be holding on to Thee
